China variable speed drive development

Variable speed drive in China has nearly 20 years on the market, because of its good performance and considerable power saving effect, so in all walks of life in a very wide range of applications, so far has reached about 30% utilization rate. Especially in the last ten years, variable speed drive development is rapid, increase rate of every year is more than 20%.

Compare to other applications, variable speed drive being used in mine application is relative late, but due to the mine rapid development situation in latest 5 year, it has a trend to lead the industry. The fundamental reason for the backward electrical equipment can't satisfy the industrial production requirements. Due to the old equipment, energy consumption and low efficiency, explosion-proof industry developing, the technical problems need to be solved urgently. Saving energy and reducing consumption, low carbon emissions is the objective need of social development, Chinese government has paid more attention to such variable speed drives upgrading transformation technologies.
